About the Association of Aviation Medical Examiners
The Association of Aviation Medical Examiners is a registered educational charity.
Its objectives are:
To advance, for the public benefit, education and research in aviation medicine
and to publish the useful results of such research.
Full Membership of the Association is open to all medical doctors, whether full
time or part time, civil or military, who are interested in
aviation medicine and in furthering the objectives of the
Association.
Associate Membership of the Association is open to members
of other approved disciplines who are interested in aviation
medicine and in furthering the objectives of the Association.
All full and associate members are entitled to reduced
registration fees for the Association’s annual Scientific
Meeting, normally held in April. Members also enjoy
reciprocal rights to reduced registration fees for the
annual conference of the Scottish Association of Aviation
Medical Examiners.
The annual membership fee for both full and associate
membership is currently £75.00 per year and the membership
year starts on 1st June. If you would like to join the
